The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the opening of applications for the initial employment scholarship program at the Saudi Arabian Mining Company "Ma'aden", within the "Wa'ed" track, one of the strategic tracks of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program.

The program is implemented in partnership between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and Ma'aden, and aims to empower national talents and qualify them to obtain a bachelor's degree in disciplines related to the mining and mineral industries, contributing to raising the sector's efficiency and enhancing the readiness of young energies for the labor market.

The program offers study at two prestigious universities:

First: Colorado School of Mines (United States of America), and the available specializations include:

- Mining Engineering

- Geological Engineering

- Geophysical Engineering

- Mining Science Engineering

- Electrical Engineering

Second: University of New South Wales (Australia), and the available specializations include:

- Mining Engineering

- Electrical Engineering

- Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering

- Environmental Engineering

- Geologic Energy Engineering and Underground Storage

Duration of scholarship and registration deadline

The scholarship duration ranges from 4 to 5 years, while registration closes on August 2, 2026. Applications can be submitted via the official website of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program.
