Municipalities: Reports Enhance Handling of Collective Housing Violations
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing affirmed the continuation of oversight on collective housing sites for individuals in various regions of the Kingdom, stressing that reports received via the Balady platform and the unified number 940 represent an effective supporting channel in detecting violations and enhancing compliance with technical, health, and safety standards.
Rapid handling of violative cases and taking necessary legal procedures
The Ministry explained that receiving reports through official channels increases the efficiency of follow-up, and enables the competent teams to rapidly handle violative cases and take the necessary legal procedures; to preserve public health and safety and reduce irregular practices within residential neighborhoods.
It stated that regulating collective housing for individuals is part of the Ministry's efforts within the framework of the National Program for Developing Collective Housing for Individuals, in partnership with government agencies, aiming to improve the quality of workers' housing and provide a safe, healthy, and sustainable environment, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in improving quality of life.
The Ministry stressed the continuation of coordination with relevant authorities to raise the level of compliance with regulations and requirements, alongside continuing field inspection tours.
It called on community members to use official channels to report any violations, affirming that community awareness and effective reports support oversight efforts and contribute to the rapid handling of observations and maintaining the quality of the residential environment.
