Prince Saud bin Naif Meets with Kuwaiti Ambassador
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received at the Emirate Diwan the Commander of the Special Forces for Road Security in the Eastern Province, Brigadier General Abdullah al-Obeid, accompanied by members of the Special Forces for Road Security in the region.
He reviewed achievement reports and implemented projects, along with future plans aimed at enhancing road user safety in the cities and governorates of the region.
The Governor of the Eastern Province praised the security and humanitarian efforts exerted by the Special Forces for Road Security in performing their duties, which contribute to enhancing security and reassurance on the roads. He stressed the importance of continuing to develop the road security system, raising its readiness, and benefiting from modern technologies to enhance traffic safety and protect road users. He also noted that the Eastern Province achieved first place in traffic safety at the Kingdom level, thanks to the integrated efforts of security agencies, including the Special Forces for Road Security, the General Directorate of Traffic, and the region's police.
Prince Saud bin Naif also received at his office in the Emirate Diwan yesterday the Ambassador of the sister State of Kuwait to the Kingdom, Sheikh Sabah bin Nasser bin Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The Governor of the Eastern Province welcomed the ambassador to the region, and during the meeting they exchanged friendly talks and discussed a number of topics of common interest.
