Prohibition of Storing Outside Project Scope
The Infrastructure Projects Center in the Riyadh Region (RIPC) emphasized the importance of workers in the infrastructure sector organizing storage operations within work sites, stressing that preventing the storage of equipment, machinery, and materials outside the project's designated area contributes to raising public safety levels, improving the urban landscape, and ensuring traffic flow. The center explained that compliance with the Infrastructure Projects Code prohibits storage outside the work scope, due to the risks it may pose to pedestrians and road users, in addition to its negative impact on the city's general appearance. Obstacles and risks The center explained that the intended meaning of storage is leaving or storing equipment, machinery, and materials used or expected to be used in any stage of project implementation outside the designated work area, affirming that adherence to these controls reflects workers' awareness and reduces obstacles and risks associated with implementation sites. Project Code The center called on all workers in the infrastructure sector to comply with the requirements of the Infrastructure Projects Code, which contributes to enhancing safety, raising the quality of project implementation, and preserving the urban environment, noting that details of the code can be viewed via the dedicated platform or by calling the unified number 19989.
