Social / BSF Launches 'Future Leaders' Camp as Part of Social Responsibility Initiatives in Partnership with Social Development Bank

Riyadh, Safar 1, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 15, 2026, SPA. The Saudi French Bank (BSF), in partnership with the Social Development Bank, launched the 'Future Leaders' camp, one of the initiatives of the Athar social responsibility program, aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and enhancing the readiness of their projects to obtain financing under the Athar portfolio of BSF for social responsibility, dedicated to supporting and promoting the growth of startups and enabling them to expand. The camp witnessed a significant turnout, with more than 220 male and female entrepreneurs applying, and 12 projects were selected to participate in an intensive three-day program, including specialized training and guidance sessions, business model review, project file development, and completing financing application requirements. The program focuses on developing the practical aspects of projects through specialized tracks including financial technology, logistics technology, real estate technology, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, along with guidance sessions by a select group of experts and specialists, enhancing participants' readiness to benefit from available financing opportunities. Head of Institutional Banking at BSF, Faisal Darwish, said: 'This initiative reflects BSF's commitment to supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem and enabling startups to access opportunities that help them grow and sustain. Our partnership with the Social Development Bank is a model of integration between the financial and developmental sectors in supporting the national economy.' The Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at the Social Development Bank, Engineer Muayyid bin Nasser Al-Bishi, affirmed that the partnership with the Saudi French Bank represents a model of integration between the financial and developmental sectors in maximizing the impact of social responsibility. He noted that the bank has successfully built a portfolio exceeding 360 million riyals, with aspirations to grow it into a billion-riyal portfolio that supports entrepreneurial projects and contributes to job creation. He explained that the launch of the 'Future Leaders' camp extends this approach by qualifying and empowering startups and linking them with financing opportunities, contributing to turning promising ideas into successful national companies and creating sustainable success stories that boost economic growth and achieve a developmental impact that extends to society.
