Jeddah, 07 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 21, 2026, SPA – His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the threats issued by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, maritime navigation security, and the freedom of international trade. He affirmed that the statements issued by the so-called military spokesman of the terrorist Houthi militia are unacceptable and unjustifiable in any way, stressing that the continuous threat to maritime navigation constitutes a threat to regional and international security, pointing out that these practices come in a series of attacks and baseless claims launched by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the attack that targeted the southern region, as well as the threats targeting maritime navigation. He reiterated the full solidarity of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its standing with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security and stability, recalling the strenuous efforts and endeavors made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to contribute to achieving peace, security, and stability in Yemen, along with the generous humanitarian and relief aids it provided and the development projects it implemented for the benefit of the Yemeni people with the aim of alleviating their suffering, calling for the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions regarding Yemen and regarding the rights and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. // End // 22:20 T.M. 0225
