The National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases (Weqaa) has launched a national campaign to vaccinate pets against rabies across various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, lasting until Thursday, July 23, 2026.

This campaign is part of the center's ongoing efforts to strengthen the animal health system and reduce the spread of zoonotic diseases, in order to protect animal health and the safety of community members.

Weqaa explained that vaccination points receive breeders and beneficiaries daily from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM throughout the campaign days, noting that the service is completely free.

The center called on those wishing to benefit from the campaign to check the designated vaccination locations via the center's official accounts on social media platforms.

Weqaa continues to implement periodic preventive campaigns aimed at raising health awareness and protecting livestock and public health in all regions of the Kingdom.
