The White Land and Vacant Properties Program confirmed that the land being free of construction does not necessarily mean it is subject to the white land fees, stressing that there is a set of controls and criteria that determine the lands covered by the application of the fees.

The program explained that among the most prominent of these conditions are that the land be located within the city limits, undeveloped or unbuilt, and suitable for building or development, in addition to being within the geographical scope previously announced for the application of white land fees.

It added via platform X that area and use criteria are among the basic elements in determining the extent to which the land is subject to the fee, noting that lands that do not meet these requirements are not classified as properties subject to fees.

The program called on landowners to verify that their lands meet all approved conditions and controls before initiating registration in the White Land Fees Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures and avoiding any confusion regarding the application mechanism.
