(CNN)—Arab countries allied with the United States reported issuing warnings or repelling Iranian attacks through early Saturday morning (local time), according to official media and local authorities, amid Iran's claims that it carried out strikes against US targets across the region.

US allies that reported strikes or warnings:

Kuwait: The state issued seven warnings over 12 hours, extending into early Saturday, noting that its air defenses were dealing with threats from missiles and drones. Kuwait Airways also announced the rescheduling of most of its flights for Saturday due to the closure of airspace, and all takeoffs and landings at Kuwait International Airport were temporarily suspended.

Bahrain: Announced that its army intercepted multiple Iranian attacks overnight, while the Bahrain Defense Force, in a post on platform X (formerly Twitter), stated that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian aerial attacks on Saturday morning..

Jordan: The army said in a statement by a responsible military source that air defense systems repelled, at dawn Saturday, ten Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace and were heading towards the kingdom's territory, and they were intercepted and shot down, adding that the interception and downing operation resulted in no human injuries or material damage, and that Royal Engineering Corps teams began their tasks at the sites of falling shrapnel and dealt with them and secured them according to the technical and security procedures in place.

Saudi Arabia: Issued brief warnings in two locations before canceling them after a few minutes, confirming the danger had passed.

As for Iran, official media claimed that Iranian forces targeted US forces and facilities in both Bahrain and Kuwait. CNN was unable to independently verify these claims.
