The General Directorate of Border Guard concluded today the maritime safety awareness exhibition, which focused on proper practices and reducing drowning risks, at Al Nakheel Mall in Riyadh.

According to a statement by the Border Guard on its account on platform X, the exhibition showcased the Border Guard's regulations and rules for beachgoers, penalties for swimming in unauthorized locations, safety instructions to be followed when going to the sea, and the Border Guard's efforts in search and rescue and ensuring the safety of marine vessels before sailing.

The General Directorate of Border Guard called on beach and sea visitors to adhere to the instructions and guidelines and to contact numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, and (994) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, for assistance in emergencies.
