Bahrain announces death of one person, injury of two others due to shrapnel from intercepted rocket

Manama, March 02 (QNA) - The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced the death of one person and the injury of two others from shrapnel of an intercepted rocket. The ministry said in a statement early today that a fire broke out on a foreign ship under maintenance in Salman Industrial City due to falling shrapnel from an intercepted rocket, resulting in the death of an Asian worker and serious injuries to two others, noting that the fire was brought under control and extinguished.

Earlier, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force confirmed that missile defense systems intercepted Iranian attacks, with a total of 61 rockets and 34 drones successfully destroyed and shot down.
