According to an official statement, a responsible military source confirmed that Jordanian airspace is an integral part of the Kingdom's sovereignty, and that the armed forces reject any attempt to violate it or use it in a way that threatens Jordan's security and stability, noting that air surveillance units continue to monitor the skies and deal with any developments with the highest level of readiness.
The source stressed that the armed forces will deal with any breach or threat to Jordanian airspace according to the established rules of engagement, and will take all necessary measures to protect the Kingdom's sovereignty and preserve its national security without leniency.
