The Ministry of Interior today (Wednesday) in Riyadh Region carried out the Qisas execution sentence against the Sudanese expatriate Emad Anwar Al-Haj Mohammed, for committing the murder of another Sudanese expatriate named Haj Hassan Othman Taha, by shooting him, resulting in his death.

It stated that security authorities arrested the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him led to his indictment for committing the crime. Upon referral to the competent court, a verdict was issued proving his guilt and sentencing him to Qisas execution. The verdict became final after being appealed and then upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to implement what was legally decided, and the sentence was carried out.

The Ministry of Interior affirmed to all the keenness of the Kingdom's government on maintaining security, achieving justice, and implementing Islamic Sharia provisions against anyone who assaults the safe and sheds their blood, violating their right to life. At the same time, it warns anyone who contemplates such an act that the legal punishment will be their fate.
