The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohamed Albudaiwi, condemned in the strongest terms the treacherous Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and their targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities, which resulted in injuries to a number of civilian workers in the State of Kuwait.

He affirmed that Iran's actions constitute a highly dangerous escalation, a grave violation of international law and the UN Charter, and war crimes that require accountability and international prosecution, as they involved targeting infrastructure and civilian facilities in flagrant violation of all international norms and conventions, and a persistence in undermining the security and stability of the region.
