A hospital staff in Iran told state media that more than 200 people were evacuated from the hospital after the building shook due to an explosion believed to have been caused by a projectile falling nearby. CNN cannot independently verify Iranian claims that the explosion in the city of Ahvaz was caused by a US strike.

Explosions were heard in several areas in Iran on Wednesday after the United States announced a new round of airstrikes.
