A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – the Arab Army stated that air defense systems detected, today Wednesday, six missiles coming from Iranian territory targeting the Kingdom's land, and dealt with them immediately upon entering Jordanian airspace.

The source clarified, according to the Jordan News Agency via its account on the "X" platform, that air defenses intercepted and shot down 4 missiles, while the other two missiles fell in two remote uninhabited areas, with no human casualties or material damage.

He added that Royal Engineering Corps teams moved to the sites where the two missiles and fragments from interception operations fell, and worked to secure the sites and deal with the remnants according to technical and security procedures in place.

The source confirmed that the Kingdom's airspace is under continuous operational monitoring, and that the armed forces will deal with any aerial threat targeting Jordanian territory according to the established rules of engagement, ensuring the protection of the Kingdom's sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.
