A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army announced that air defense systems intercepted and downed, on Tuesday afternoon, three Iranian missiles that were targeting the kingdom's territory.

The source confirmed that the interception and downing operation did not result in any human casualties or material damage, noting that Royal Engineer Corps teams dealt with the sites where shrapnel fell and secured them according to approved procedures.

The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army continue to monitor the airspace continuously and maintain the highest levels of readiness to deal with any threat to the kingdom's security and sovereignty.
