The Jordanian army announced it intercepted four Iranian missiles and six drones targeting the country.

The Jordan News Agency "Petra" quoted a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces as saying that the Royal Air Force over the past 24 hours dealt with four Iranian missiles and six Iranian drones targeting the Kingdom's territory, noting that air defenses intercepted and shot down three missiles yesterday morning, while the fourth missile fell in a remote uninhabited area. He added: Last evening, the six drones were intercepted and shot down, stressing that the operation did not result in any human casualties or material losses.

Saudi political analysis

He pointed out that Royal Engineering Corps teams moved to the sites of the missile and debris fall, dealt with them, and secured the sites according to the technical and security procedures in place.

The source noted that the armed forces continue to monitor the Kingdom's airspace, maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to deal with any threat targeting the security of the Kingdom and the safety of its citizens, according to the rules of engagement in force, calling on citizens not to approach the fall sites of objects or debris, to report them immediately, to obtain information from official sources, and not to circulate rumors and unreliable news.
