A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army announced that the Royal Air Force dealt with four Iranian missiles and six drones that targeted the Kingdom’s territory over the past 24 hours.

The source explained that air defenses intercepted and shot down three missiles this morning, while the fourth missile fell in a remote uninhabited area, noting that the six drones were intercepted and shot down yesterday evening, stressing that the operation resulted in no human injuries or material losses.

He added that Royal Engineering Corps teams headed immediately after the operations to the sites of the missile and debris impact, dealt with them, and secured the sites according to approved technical and security procedures.

The source stressed that the armed forces continue to monitor Jordanian airspace and maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to deal with any threat to the Kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens, in accordance with the established rules of engagement.

The General Command of the Armed Forces called on citizens not to approach the impact sites of objects or debris, and to report them immediately to the relevant authorities, while stressing the necessity of obtaining information from official sources and not spreading rumors and unreliable news.
