The Jordanian Armed Forces announced today that air defense systems intercepted ten Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace and were targeting the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and they were intercepted and shot down. The Armed Forces confirmed - according to what was published by the Jordan News Agency - that the missiles were handled according to operational procedures and defensive measures in place. It added that the interception and shooting down did not result in any human casualties or material damage, noting that Royal Engineering Corps teams began their tasks at the sites of the falling shrapnel, and worked to handle and secure them according to technical and security procedures in place.
