The Jordanian Armed Forces stated in a statement that air defenses intercepted 3 missiles on Thursday morning, while the fourth fell in an uninhabited area, with no casualties reported.

These new strikes follow Iran's launch of 6 missiles towards Jordan on Wednesday; satellite images from the European Space Agency show smoke rising from a building inside King Faisal Air Base in Jordan.

The image shows a cloud of black smoke rising from a group of white buildings in the northwestern part of the base.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Jordanian Armed Forces said in a statement that Jordanian air defenses 'intercepted and shot down 4 drones.'

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claimed on Wednesday that they targeted King Faisal Base and Prince Hassan Base in Jordan using missiles and drones.

In a message addressed to the Jordanian people on Thursday, the Revolutionary Guards alleged that American crimes continue through bases in Jordan, considering targeting them a legal and legitimate right.

The Revolutionary Guards also claimed that they 'destroyed a radar of the US THAAD missile defense system through swift attacks targeting American bases, and targeted a Patriot system and a C-RAM radar, destroyed them, and set fire to fuel depots in these American bases,' according to Iran's official IRNA news agency.

The Revolutionary Guards said in their statement: 'It is sometimes said that Iran has violated the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries with its attacks, while this judgment is completely incorrect. From our perspective, the independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of your country are fully respected,' as described.

In Bahrain, citizens were asked on Thursday to 'remain calm and go to the nearest safe place' as sirens sounded across the country.
