A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, announced that air defense systems detected six missiles coming from Iranian territory targeting the Kingdom's territory, and engaged them immediately upon entering Jordanian airspace.

The source explained that air defenses succeeded in intercepting and downing four missiles, while the remaining two missiles fell in two remote, uninhabited areas, with no human casualties or material damage recorded.

He pointed out that Royal Engineering Corps teams immediately moved to the sites where the two missiles fell and the location of debris resulting from the interception operations, and worked to secure those sites and deal with the remnants in accordance with approved technical and security procedures.

The military source affirmed that Jordanian airspace is under continuous operational monitoring, stressing that the armed forces will deal with any aerial threat targeting Jordanian territory according to the established rules of engagement, ensuring the protection of the Kingdom's sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.
