The Jordanian army announced on Sunday that its air defense systems intercepted 3 out of 4 Iranian missiles that targeted the Kingdom's territory, confirming that the fourth missile fell in a remote area in the south of the country away from populated areas.

A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that "the air defense systems intercepted and shot down 3 out of 4 Iranian missiles that targeted the Kingdom's territory, while the fourth missile fell in a remote area in the south of the Kingdom away from populated areas."

The source clarified that the incident did not result in any human casualties or material damage, stressing that Royal Engineering Corps teams began handling the missile impact site and securing it according to the technical and security procedures in place.

The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to monitor the Kingdom's airspace with the highest degree of readiness and will deal firmly with any threat that affects the security of the Kingdom and the safety of its citizens.
