Kuwait Intercepts Iranian Ballistic Missiles and Drones, Fires Break Out at Electricity Facilities
The official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Attwan, announced that the Kuwaiti armed forces detected hostile ballistic missiles and drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn today, confirming that they were intercepted and dealt with successfully.
Al-Attwan explained that the Iranian aggression continues to target civilian and vital facilities in the country, as attacks reached facilities belonging to the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, causing fires and severe damage to a number of vital utilities and facilities.
The Kuwaiti armed forces affirmed their continued execution of their tasks and duties with high efficiency, within the framework of continuous readiness and permanent preparedness, indicating that all necessary measures are being taken to protect the sovereignty of the nation and maintain its security and stability in coordination with relevant authorities, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
