The Kuwaiti Army General Staff announced that air defense systems are currently repelling hostile missile and drone attacks, amid rising regional tensions.

The General Staff clarified in its statement that the sounds of explosions that may be heard in various areas are a direct result of the air defense systems intercepting incoming attacks, and not explosions resulting from direct hits.

The General Staff called on all citizens and residents to fully comply with the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities, and to avoid sources of rumors and the circulation of undocumented information.
