Kuwaiti Army Intercepts Attacks by Iranian Missiles and Drones
The Kuwaiti army announced on Sunday that it intercepted and repelled missile and drone attacks by Iranian drones shortly after sirens sounded in Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti army said that the Kuwaiti air defenses "are currently repelling hostile missile and drone attacks, following the sinful Iranian aggression."
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti army noted that if explosions are heard, they are the result of the air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks. It called on "everyone to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities."

On Saturday, Kuwait condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian aggression on its territory, which targeted a facility for electric power and water desalination.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement that "the State of Kuwait condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the sinful Iranian aggression on the country's territory this morning, which targeted another facility for electric power and water desalination."
On Saturday, Kuwait announced that power generation and water desalination plants were subjected to an Iranian attack that caused a fire, while Kuwait Airways announced the rescheduling of most of its flights following the Iranian attacks.
The Kuwait Fire Service Directorate also announced on Saturday that there were injuries among firefighters and a worker while dealing with one of the fires caused by Iranian attacks.
