The Kuwaiti Army General Staff announced that three land border posts in the north of the country were subjected today, Sunday, to an attack it described as 'sinful aggression', resulting in material damage, with no human casualties at those sites.

The official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Pilot Saud Abdulaziz Al-Attwan, said that the attack also included targeting one of the offshore drilling platforms belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company within territorial waters by a hostile drone, causing material damage and injuring one of the workers.

Al-Attwan explained that the injured person is receiving necessary medical care, affirming that the competent authorities immediately began implementing the necessary procedures to deal with the incident, in coordination with relevant authorities, to ensure containment of the situation and follow-up on its repercussions.

The Kuwaiti Army General Staff affirmed the continued readiness of the armed forces to deal with various developments, stressing the taking of all necessary measures and procedures to maintain the security of the country and the safety of its territory, and to continue monitoring developments and taking what is necessary to protect Kuwait and its capabilities.
