Kuwaiti Army: Number of Ground Forces Personnel Injured in Heinous Iranian Aggression
The Kuwaiti Army announced today (Friday) that a number of ground forces personnel were injured after several of its facilities and camps were targeted by drones, describing the attack as part of an 'Iranian aggression.'
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said in a statement posted on its X account that the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Khaled Daraj Saad Al-Shuraian, visited a number of wounded personnel from the Ground Force who were injured as a result of the targeting of several facilities and camps belonging to the Kuwaiti Army by hostile drones this morning, following the 'Iranian aggression.'
The statement did not specify the number of wounded, but it published photos of the visit showing four people on hospital beds.
The statement added that Al-Shuraian listened to an explanation from the medical team about the health condition of the wounded, praising the efforts of medical staff in providing necessary care and treatment.
Earlier today, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced that air defenses had confronted missile and hostile drone attacks this morning, following the 'Iranian aggression.'
Also earlier today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced that a power and water distillation plant was subjected to an 'Iranian assault,' resulting in damage to the plant's facilities, a fire outbreak, and damage to a large number of power generation units.
In recent days, Kuwait has repeatedly announced repelling Iranian attacks with missiles and drones, resulting in injuries and material losses, amid ongoing exchanges of strikes between Iran and the United States of America.
