The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned, 'in the strongest terms,' the threats issued by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including threats targeting maritime navigation through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, considering these threats a flagrant violation of international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The ministry reiterated - according to a statement it issued - its affirmation of the necessity of respecting freedom of maritime navigation and full implementation of international resolutions; to ensure support for Yemeni legitimacy and the withdrawal of the Houthi militia from the areas it has seized, stressing the importance of maintaining the security of maritime corridors and regional stability.
