The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned in the strongest terms the threats made by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including threats targeting maritime navigation through the Bab el-Mandeb strait.

In a statement, the ministry considered these threats a flagrant violation of international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The Lebanese Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the need to respect freedom of navigation and full implementation of international resolutions, ensuring support for Yemeni legitimacy and the withdrawal of the Houthi militia from areas they have controlled.

The ministry stressed the importance of maintaining the security of maritime passages and regional stability.
