The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants strongly condemned the threats issued by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including threats targeting maritime navigation through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, considering these threats a flagrant violation of international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The ministry renewed, according to a statement it issued, its affirmation of the need to respect freedom of maritime navigation and full implementation of international resolutions, ensuring support for Yemeni legitimacy and the withdrawal of the Houthi militia from areas they control, stressing the importance of maintaining the security of sea lanes and regional stability.
