The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned "in the strongest terms" the threats issued by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including threats targeting maritime navigation through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, deeming these threats a flagrant violation of international law and relevant Security Council resolutions.
The ministry reiterated, according to a statement it issued, its emphasis on the need to respect freedom of maritime navigation and full implementation of international resolutions, in a way that ensures support for Yemeni legitimacy and the withdrawal of the Houthi militia from the areas it has controlled, stressing the importance of maintaining the security of maritime corridors and regional stability.
