Iranian affairs researcher Dr. Hani Suleiman said that the Iranian regime will not withstand targeted strikes on infrastructure.

Suleiman added, in an interview on 'Al Arabiya FM', that these military strikes and the US military's targeting of water stations, road networks and bridges create a major problem, and the Iranian regime will be in confrontation with its people.

Suleiman continued, saying that the strikes have reached deep, and if the war continues, the Iranian regime will not be able to handle them and will be in a crisis with the Iranian people, which will constitute a heavy burden on that regime.

He added that Iran's targeting of Gulf states demonstrates the level of Iranian contradiction; that regime targets civilian objectives, reflecting its weakness and inability to directly target US interests because it knows that if it does so, it will face a difficult reaction from the American side.

He continued, saying that Iran is playing on two axes: not directly challenging US interests while challenging neighboring countries in the hope of exerting pressure on the United States, while the Iranian regime's approach is damaging relations between Tehran and neighboring countries.
