On Wednesday, the Saudi Civil Defense announced the end of the danger that prompted the activation of an alert via the national platform for early warning of emergencies in Dammam, hours after warning residents and urging them to adhere to precautionary guidelines. The Civil Defense had previously issued an early warning alerting of a danger in Dammam, calling on residents to remain calm, follow official instructions, head to the nearest safe place inside buildings, and stay away from windows and open areas until the situation is declared over. It also recommended at the time not to leave buildings, stop to film incidents, or gather in dangerous locations, and instructed vehicle drivers to stop in safe places away from bridges and high-rise buildings upon receiving the alert message, and to contact via number (911) in case of any emergency.

In a later update, the Civil Defense confirmed the end of the danger for Dammam, calling on residents to continue following its instructions, avoid gathering and filming entirely, and contact the relevant authorities via number (911) when needed, to ensure public safety.

It noted that if the alert message is received while driving, one should stop on the side of the road away from bridges and high-rise buildings, urging to report any danger via number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or via number (998) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.

The Civil Defense emphasized the importance of obtaining information from official channels and adhering to instructions issued by the relevant authorities until the end of the emergency situation.
