Trump: I am seriously studying resuming large-scale combat operations in Iran

The Axios website reported that US President Donald Trump said in an interview conducted today, Thursday, that he is seriously studying resuming large-scale combat operations against Iran, which may include launching strikes larger than those carried out during Operation "Epic Fury".

The site quoted Trump as saying, "They haven't suffered enough yet." The site also mentioned that Trump has not yet made a final decision on the matter.

Trump's statements were as follows: "I am seriously studying resuming large-scale combat operations against Iran, and I am studying launching a bigger attack than ever on Iran, and I am about to make a decision."

He added, "The Iranians want to negotiate, but they are not ready to reach an agreement currently, and they haven't received enough pain yet... Israel will join the attacks on Iran within two minutes if I ask them to, but Israel's joining a war against Iran will have consequences."

Trump concluded his remarks by saying, "(We don't need anyone) to launch a new operation against Iran."
