UAE Foreign Minister Discusses Efforts to End Escalation in the Region with Egyptian Counterpart

Abu Dhabi, July 21 (QNA) - Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, discussed today with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty, who is currently visiting the UAE, the situation in the Middle East region and ways to enhance regional and international efforts to end the escalation in the region and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law.

The two ministers also discussed the need to work towards achieving sustainable security and stability in the region, fulfilling the aspirations of its peoples for development and prosperity.
