Trusted Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Al-Ahli has successfully finalized the deal for €45 million plus €5 million in variables, after obtaining Trincão's approval.
Trincão is set to sign a contract with Al-Ahli that guarantees his stay for at least three seasons, with an estimated annual salary of about €10 million.
Trincão was a prominent target for many European clubs during the current summer transfer window, but Al-Ahli swooped in on the deal to compensate for the departure of Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez.
