Media reports have revealed new developments in Al-Nassr's negotiations with Spanish club Real Mallorca to sign Portuguese midfielder Samu Costa during the current summer transfer window, as part of the club's plan to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.

Trusted Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed via his official account on platform 'X' that Al-Nassr has made significant progress in its negotiations to sign Samu Costa.

Romano added that the negotiations have entered their final stages, both with Real Mallorca's management and the player's representatives, indicating that the two parties are close to reaching a final agreement.

Samu Costa joined Real Mallorca from Almeria for around 3 million euros, and quickly established himself within the team, becoming one of the most prominent midfielders.

During his tenure with the Spanish club, the player made over 100 official appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 5 assists, cementing his status as one of the key pillars in Mallorca's lineup.
