Al-Shabab club announced on Thursday its official signing of midfielder Awad Al-Nashri, as part of the team's reinforcements during the current summer transfer window, in preparation for the start of the new season competitions.

The club's official account on platform 'X' published the announcement of the deal, confirming that Al-Nashri signed a professional contract extending for two seasons, with an option to extend for an additional year.

The club's statement read: 'The club's management, represented by Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Malik, signed a professional contract with player Awad Al-Nashri for two years, with an option to extend for one year, wishing him all the best in his upcoming career with the Lions.' Al-Nashri is considered one of the promising young talents in Saudi football, and Al-Shabab hopes he will be a strong addition to the midfield, as the club seeks to strengthen its ranks with a number of signings that support its ambitions to compete in various tournaments in the upcoming season.
