The French Football Federation revealed the date for presenting the new coach of the senior national team to the media, after Didier Deschamps left following the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup competition.

Deschamps' tenure with the French national team ended after finishing fourth in the 2026 World Cup, and during his era, the 'Roosters' won the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 UEFA Nations League.

According to French reports, Zidane reached a final agreement with a monthly salary of 300,000 euros, rising to 450,000 euros with bonuses.
