Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat's name has returned to the forefront of the transfer market, after Saudi club Al-Qadsiah entered into negotiations with Turkish side Fenerbahçe to sign him this summer, according to news reports on Wednesday.

The Moroccan digital site 'Hesport' quoted Turkish newspaper 'Fanatik' as saying that Al-Qadsiah's management submitted an official offer worth 20 million euros to buy the contract of the Moroccan national team midfielder, a step reflecting the Saudi club's desire to strengthen its squad with players experienced in European stadiums, as part of its project to build a team capable of competing at the highest levels in the Saudi Pro League.

The newspaper added that Fenerbahçe officials are carefully studying the offer, as the player's future has not yet been decided, pending evaluation of the financial and sporting aspects of the deal and the impact of his departure on the team's plans for the upcoming season.

On the other hand, Al-Qadsiah does not appear to be alone in the race to secure Amrabat's services, as the report indicated that Saudi Al-Ittihad is closely monitoring developments and is preparing to submit an official offer with a value close to the offer made by Al-Qadsiah, as part of its efforts to bolster its midfield with a player characterized by physical strength, ball-winning ability, and international experience.
