Arsenal have officially announced the transfer of Belgian winger Leandro Trossard to Turkish club Besiktas for a fee of £17 million, according to Sky Sports, which specializes in transfer news.

Trossard leaves the Emirates after a spell of around two and a half years with the Gunners, having joined the London club in January 2023 from Brighton for over £27 million, and played a part in the team's campaign over two consecutive seasons in which they competed for the Premier League title.

Trossard at Arsenal

The 30-year-old Belgian player delivered impressive performances in an Arsenal shirt, scoring several important goals in the Premier League and Champions League, but competition for the winger position remained fierce given the wide options available to manager Mikel Arteta.

New Turkish Destination

Trossard lands in Istanbul to join Besiktas, one of the top clubs in the Turkish Süper Lig, a move that boosts the competitiveness of the Turkish league by attracting a player with high-level European experience.
