Al-Ahli signs Portuguese winger Trincão
Saudi Al-Ahli, holders of the AFC Champions League Elite title, on Saturday signed Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão from Sporting Lisbon.
Trincão was born on 29 December 1999, is 26 years old, and is proficient in playing as a right winger, in addition to playing on both wings and behind the striker, and he is left-footed.
Trincão began his career with Sport N G Braga in Portugal before moving to Barcelona in Spain, then had a spell in the English Premier League with Wolverhampton on loan, before returning to Portugal and shining with Lisbon to become one of the most prominent players in the Portuguese league and represent the senior Portugal national team.
Trincão has played 327 official matches, scoring 62 goals, along with providing 57 assists. He also won the UEFA Nations League with his country, and won the Portuguese league title in two consecutive seasons, and won the Portuguese Cup.
