England are preparing to play a World Cup quarter-final match on Saturday against Norway, who are relying on their striker Erling Haaland, who has been outstanding in the tournament.

Germany's Thomas Tuchel, England manager, said of Haaland: 'He is in his best physical condition, at the peak of his football career.'

He added: 'When Haaland, who is about 195 centimeters tall, receives the ball in his favorite positions, opponents realize that stopping him is almost impossible. He is huge in build, strong, very skilled, and it is almost certain that the ball will end up in the net.'

After a shaky start in the knockout stages against the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Euro 2024 runners-up, England, overcame all odds to secure a win in the round of 16 against Mexico.

According to Tuchel, the thrilling 3-2 victory was a valuable experience by all measures, but this success amid difficulties is now in the past, as the England team now focuses on facing Norway.

Heat and humidity, in addition to the task of limiting the threat of Haaland, are among the challenges facing the team in Miami, where the German coach urges his players to deliver an exceptional performance.

Tuchel stated before the match to be held at Hard Rock Stadium: 'I think generally what it takes in the round of 32 and round of 16, as we have explained to the team, is to find a way to win.'

He added, according to the British news agency PA Media: 'We are in the quarter-finals, and fortune favors the brave. There is no room for regret when we play in the quarter-finals; we must give our best, that is the most important thing.'

Tuchel emphasized: 'We are on the right track to achieve that. And we want to take the next step.'

Haaland has led Norway to its best-ever result in its fourth World Cup appearance, and the most notable moment in the team's World Cup journey was the 2-1 victory over Brazil in the round of 16.
