Bremen Requests Puertas, and Al-Qadsiah Consults
The management of German club Werder Bremen has made an offer to its counterpart at Al-Qadsiah to purchase the contract of Spanish midfielder Cameron Puertas, according to a source speaking to Al-Riyadiya. The same source added that the Eastern club's management is evaluating current offers for the player, and will make a decision after consulting with Northern Irish manager Brendan Rodgers. The 27-year-old player spent a loan spell with the German club last season, playing 28 matches, scoring one goal, and providing two assists, according to Transfermarkt. The Spanish player, 27, joined Al-Qadsiah in summer 2024 from Belgian club Royale Union for a contract running until 2028. During his time with the Eastern club, Puertas played 38 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 11 assists.
