Northern Irishman Brendan Rodgers, head coach of Al Qadsiah's first football team, opens on Monday the file of the final friendly match at the Spanish Girona training camp against Levante next Sunday, according to a private source for Al Riyadiah. The same source stated that Rodgers gave his players a day off on Sunday, after the goalless draw with Girona on Saturday at the Cameral stadium in their second friendly. The draw is the second for the eastern team during the preparation period, after their first match against Real Oviedo ended with the same result. Rodgers entered the match with a starting lineup that included the most prominent stars and new signings, and included Belgian goalkeeper Koen Casteels, Spaniard Nacho Fernandez, Uruguayan Gaston Alvarez and his compatriot Nahitan Nandez, Yasser Al Shahrani, German Julian Weigl, Moroccan Sofiane Kherouani, Portuguese Otavio Monteiro, Turki Al Ammar, Mohammed Al Qahtani, and Ghanaian Jerry Afri. In the second half, the Qadsawi coach relied on a new lineup consisting of Mishari Saniour in goal, Spaniard Alejandro Vargas, his compatriots Cameron Puertas, Miguel Carvalho, and Iker Almena, Ibrahim Mahanashi, Mohammed Qasim, Ali Hazazi, Abdul Ilah Al Quweizan, Brazilian Gabriel Carvalho, and Haitham Asiri.
