FIFA nominates an Arab player for the ideal lineup of the 2026 World Cup

(CNN)-- The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) recently announced the opening of voting on its official website to select the best 11 players of the 2026 World Cup, within a limited time period.
Moroccan Ismail Sbai is the only Arab player on the list of candidates for the ideal lineup of the World Cup.
Sbai participated in 5 matches in the tournament, which was held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 key passes.
Below is the list of candidates for the ideal lineup:
Goalkeepers: Unai Simón (Spain), Vozinha (Cape Verde), Emiliano Martínez (Argentina), Pickford (England), and Eloy Room (Curaçao). Defense: Lisandro Martínez (Argentina), Nuno Mendes (Portugal), Cucurella (Spain), Van Dijk (Netherlands); Gabriel Magalhães (Brazil), Cristian Romero (Argentina), Upamecano (France), Pedro Porro (Spain).
Midfield: Jude Bellingham (England), Oliesse (France), Enzo Fernández (Argentina), Ousmane Dembélé (France), Luka Modrić (Croatia), Vinícius Júnior (Brazil), Ismail Sbai (Morocco), Rodri (Spain), Lamine Yamal (Spain).
Attack: Lionel Messi (Argentina), Kylian Mbappé (France), Erling Haaland (Norway), Harry Kane (England), Mikel Oyarzabal (Spain), Julián Quiñones (Mexico).
