Bondar won by scores of 6/1 and 7/6 (7/3), continuing her progress in the tournament and overcoming the quarterfinal stage, after the Hungarian, who is the fourth seed in this tournament, had defeated Germany's Noma Noha Akugue in three sets in the round of 16.
Bondar is preparing to face Armenia's Elina Avanesyan on Saturday in the semifinals of the tournament, which has a total prize money of more than 2 million euros.
Avanesyan had advanced after Ukrainian Oleksandra Olinykova withdrew.
