Al-Ittihad's sports management is moving to confirm the name of Cameroonian defender Stefan Keller in the Asian list for the first football team, so that he will be present in the play-off match for the AFC Champions League Elite against UAE's Al Jazira, scheduled for August 11 in the UAE, according to sources from Al Riyadiyah. The same sources explained that Keller will participate with Al-Ittihad during the early rounds of the Saudi Roshn League, until the final local list is approved, which will include 25 players. The sources added that the sports management will decide the fate of the Cameroonian defender after the local list is approved, whether by keeping him only in the Asian list or also registering him in local competitions, given the limited number of foreign players over the age limit, which is eight players, in addition to evaluating the readiness of the team members and finalizing new contracts during the summer transfer window. Al-Ittihad had signed Keller during the previous winter transfer window on a contract extending until summer 2029. The Cameroonian defender played one match for Al-Ittihad last season in the AFC Champions League Elite.
