(CNN)-- Achraf Hakimi, Morocco full-back, commented on the elimination of the 'Atlas Lions' from the 2026 World Cup.
Morocco had bid farewell to the World Cup in the quarter-finals after losing to France 2-0 on July 9.
Hakimi had scored a goal and provided two decisive assists in 6 matches in the tournament, which was held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
About a week after the end of the 'Atlas Lions' journey in the world's biggest tournament, Achraf Hakimi posted two clips on his X account, one of himself and one of the team.
Hakimi commented, saying: 'Great nations are not measured by (one) defeat, but by everything they build. Morocco continues to write its history, the best is yet to come. God, Homeland, King.'
